Les Miserables
"Les Mis" is based on the story of Jean-Valjean from the book of the same title by Victor Hugo that was published in 1862. The cast in this movie is Hugh Jackman, Amanda Siegfried, Anne Hathaway, and Russell Crowe in a very touching way. The movie starts out with Jean-Valjean a man with incredible strength who has just completed his sentence and then failed to appear for probation was taken in by a church and is reborn as a mayor of a town in France. He then  finds a woman who he is very "interested" that has just lost her job because she was hiding that she had a child who was living with an innkeeper. The woman dies Jean vows to take care of her daughter, Cosette, as his own. Jean and Cosette live out their days very well. Then the French Revolution came to be and they got sucked into the political controversy. My opinion of this movie is 4 stars out of 5. Only 4 because it was hard to fallow at times but, other than that I loved it. It was so heart warming and I thought was a true love story.

Catching Fire
Catching fire is the movie sequel to the famous Hunger Games and attracted as much attention as the first movie. Of course anyone who has read the books knows the plot and  what happens but this is just a short recap. So it starts off as the Quarter Quell and of course Katniess is chose because she is the only woman to be a victor in district 12 and then Hamitch is chosen but, Peeta immediately volunteers and thy are taken straight to the Capital. The games begin and to Katniess is surprised by their allies. They barely survive their first day and discover that the cornucopia  is a clock and the tree could help them to kill the others. Then the wire that is supposed to be run to the water was broken while Katniess was attached and the tree was struck by lightning and Katniess was hurt badly. Marvel and her where taken in by a hovercraft but Peeta and Ripper where captured by the Capital. Me personal I loved this movie because it was so thrilling, so romantic in a way and dangerous. I loved every bit of it but the ending even thou I knew it was coming.

Frozen
Frozen is a new movie that immediately everyone from fell in Love with, I know I did. Frozen is the story of a young princess who was cursed with a gift that allows her to make snow or ice with a single wiggle of the finger or stomp of her foot. One night her sister Anna and her were playing and Elisa strikes her in the head with ice and almost kills her but, in order to save her the trolls had to remove all of her memory of Elisa's gift. Elisa was pretty much locked away from the world as her gift was becoming uncontrollable. Then Anna and Elisa's parents where killed in a tragic boat accident. Then came the day of Elisa's coronation as she had become of age to rule the country. At the coronation Anna upsets Elisa and takes one of her gloves off and Elisa's gift takes control. As Elisa runs away she ends up freezing the whole town and pier. Then Anna sets off to find her sister who had ran into the woods and leaves her fiancĂ© in charge of the town. I honestly love this movie just because of the music, I love a good musical, also for the thrill romance and evil.

OZ: The Great And Powerful
Oz is a magician that was swept away I a hot air balloon in a tornado is transported to the world of OZ. He later meets a witch of the name Theodora and she takes him to Emerald City. She assumes that since he was named after the this world she lives I that he must be the wizard that is supposed to save them from the evil witch. Once he meets Theodora's sister she tells him that he must foe full a mission in order to become the great and powerful wizard he is destin to be. On his journey he realizes that the evil witch has reined many parts of this world and he then realizes that he must defeat this evil witch with  multiple tricks. I loved this movie because it was a very family orientated movie but still had some romance and danger that really stuck out.

Despicable Me 2
Despicable Me 2 is the sequel to the movie Despicable Me. It is family oriented movie but, still has a little something for adults. It starts out as Gru being recruited to an organization that tries to stop villains like Gru used to be. He then meets Lucy and Gru starts to feel "something" for her in a way he doesn't quiet understand. The two odd people are matched up to be "partners in stopping crime". They go on a fun filled adventure to defeat the evil El Mocho. I loved this movie because it was mostly for kids but, had some little parts that only parents would understand. It had romantic parts and funny parts. I thought it was a good balance between the two genres.
