We Got A NEW!!! Pope
Pope Francis ( Jorge Mario Bergoglio, 77) was elected as the Pope on March 13th,2013. He once worked as a Chemical Technician and a night club bouncer. "Could you image having the Pope of the Catholic Church tell you, you can't go into the club?" He is also the first Jesuit Pope. Also the first Pope to be Non-European since Pope Gregory the third. In 2001 he was created a Cardinal therefore leading to him being nominated and he won the election. 

Prince George Was Born
Prince George Alexander Louis was born on July 22nd,2013. He is now 5 months and 25 days old. He is the great-grandson of Queen Elizabeth the Second. The announcement that his mother, Kate the Dutchess of Cambridge, was expecting him was made on December 3rd, 2012. He was born at 4:24 but, in England were he was born they say 16:24. He weighted 8 pounds and 6 ounces. He was Baptized on October 23rd,2013 by Archbishop of Canterbury in the Royal Chapel at St. James Palace.

Nelson Mandela Passes Away
Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was born on July 18th, 1918. He passed away on December 5th of last year. He was 95. he was the President of Africa from May 10th 1994 to June 14th 1999. He was also an activist, a politician, a philanthropist, a freedom fighter, and a lawyer. He was also known internationally for being very wise, kind, giving, and loving man. He was a beloved man all across the word and will always have very special place in my heart.

Boston Marathon Bombing
On April 15th,2013 during the famous Boston Marathon two pressure cooker bombs exploded at 2:49 PM. The bombs ended up killing 3 spectators and injured about 264 others. The bombs exploded about 13 seconds and 210 yard apart. The two suspected bombers/shooters are Dzhokhar who is in custody and Tamerian who was killed in the shooting on April 18th. They were brothers. Sixteen police officers were injured in the shooting.

Rob Ford Controversy
Rob Ford was born on May 28th,1969. Everyone knows about Rob Fords elegit drug addiction that showed up in the news recently . The controversy started when a photo was taken of what it looked like was Mayor of Toronto, Rob Ford, doing drugs. He later he admitted that it was him in the photo but, he was "not addicted but, it was merely a hobby of his. "Not everyone believed this therefore, that's when the controversy started. Many of his advisers have made comments such as " he should resign from office", "He's wrecking his reputation." which I don't disagree with.
